Caroline P. Boone / LMT & CMLDT

Caroline began her journey in the holistic health field, by becoming a certified Reiki practitioner. She developed a passion for energy work and from her own experiences with physical pain, learned of the natural abilities our bodies have to heal. From there she trained at the Lauterstein-Conway massage school in Austin, Texas, where she received her 500 hour training in massage therapy. She has also received her certification as a manual lymphatic drainage therapist.

Though her focus is manual lymphatic drainage, Caroline has studied various systems of the body including craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation.

Why Wood Pigeon?

« My paternal great grandmother Rosalia’s last name was Palumbo, which in Italian means wood pigeon.

Rosalia was a practicing shaman in Sicily and later in Connecticut. People would travel from all over to see her for various ailments. She grew nettles in her gardens, would make tomato paste under the full moon in summer and she did fire cupping! » -Caroline
